Until Other Times
I am the victim, the instrument, and the adversary of nutricide.
Until Other Times (working title) is a project considering the abuse of abundance and the fabrication of scarcity— particularly of memory, affection, and basic nutrients. The project weaves together stories of people and other animals navigating colonial economies that attempt to control these essential resources. Until Other Times asks how we have come to accept conditions of scarcity in our bodies, stories, and relations and how we might use our enormous capacity for fabrication to remember, protect, and nourish abundance.
